Any idea what is happening at 2376 mcguinness? Formerly gothic cabinet. Looks like a food market – I spotted what appeared to be coolers for beverages and shelving units being set up as I drove past.

this does appear to be the case! Anyone have the 411 (or opening date) for this establishment? If so, please share via comments or email at: missheather (at) thatgreenpointblog (dot) com.

Thanks!

  2. It’s a block away from key foods! Unless it’s some sort of specialty fancy super local organic market, I don’t see the point (and judging from that huge stack of soda, it’s probably not).

Maybe they meant to build it in LIC but misread the map.

  6. This will be a Polish supermarket. From the looks of it it will be the largest one in New York. I recognized the owner and workers from Polam on Manhattan Avenue getting the 376 McGuinness Blvd. location ready.
