From The New York Shitty Inbox: Confirmed!
Just shy of two weeks ago I posted a rumor about 60 Greenpoint Avenue becoming an Italian restaurant. This week I have learned this is, in fact true. TWICE. The first time was from a reader (thanks Margot!). The second time was from the proprietor of said establishment himself: Paulie Gee. He writes:
Hi Miss Heather,
I’m sorry that I did not get this information to you sooner. Since the Slice item came out I’ve been swamped with emails. I’m not a PR pro, so I hope you understand. I hope you find this to be noteworthy:

The best way to learn more about me is the most obvious:

But if you want to know more, just ask.
Thanks,
Paulie Gee
I asked Paulie one question: when will this establishment open? He is aiming for December 15 but is more or less at the mercy of the city (to get all his paperwork in order). I wish him the best of luck in this endeavor. He’ll need it!
Miss Heather
P.S.: I wonder what is going to happen to Paloma’s old sign? I for one hope Paulie keeps it.
