It would appear that McCarren Park has been graced with a new piece of signage. The handy visual aide really helps to drive the point home. He even has a beer gut!

What? We’re NOT supposed to drink in the park? Dag. (When these signs went up in McGolrick park, I had every intention of taking my public alcohol consumption to McCarren park. Now it looks like I’ll have to actually just drink at home…)

You can always take your public drinking to McGuinness Boulevard. That illustration is really doing it for me. I can think of at least 1/2 dozen men who look exactly that guy.

Yes, I do believe it is a vagina tree. I didn’t notice it at first, will have to swing back by and get a better photo of it.

Goddamn gentrification. If I want to get my voyeuristic thrills watching affluent old geezers in sweat suits doing Tai Chi at McCarren Park it ain’t nobody’s business but my own.
