    2. I hope that’s an abandoned car, as the bumpers are gone and the hood appears to have been popped.

    In Cobble Hill where I am, we’ve had a spate stolen wheels from neighborhood cars. They perps slip milk crates underneath, which holds the car up just long enough for the bad guys to unscrew and remove the wheels. In the morning, the owner comes out to see the car sitting flat on the ground on crushed milk crates. Has happened to 3 neighbors.

    3. About two weeks ago, the same thing happened on Dupont St., Greenpoint.
