Those Michael Jackson t-shirts for sale at the Big D are proving to be quite popular in Greenpoint.

  8. Well, I am one of the ladies in this picture, we wore those shirts in honor of the King Of Pop!!! Also, we were unaware that a picture was taken of us, I wish we would of known because our kids are in this picture, I believe that we should have been asked if we wanted our picture to appear on this site!!!

  10. I simply wanted to document how Michael Jackson’s death has been observed in Greenpoint because quite frankly I was shocked by how many people who were affected by his death. Although I am not personally a fan of “MJ” I do appreciate that his passing has touched a lot of people (including you and yours). My intent is to document daily life in Greenpoint. With particular emphasis on the people who live here— not the ones the real estate interests want to live here, e.g.; those who can dole out $2,200 a month for a one bedroom apartment.

No offense was intended and none should be construed.

  14. I totally I understand your concern about your children. Hence why I was not put-off by your comment.

What’s more, if I win the lotto (which I never play) or find a briefcase filled with unmarked bills (unlikely, but who knows?) I’ll buy both of us condos! We we’ll sip margaritas on the Viridian’s rooftop terrace!

    With or without salt? 😉
