Greenpoint Rolls Out The Welcome Mat For MTV

This was the sight which awaited the Mister and I as we walked home Tuesday evening: a film crew practicing its dark craft in front of none other than Greenpoint’s very own Corner Frenzy.

In keeping with the Garden Spot way of life, this event garnered a number of onlookers —myself included. I wondered exactly what these people were up to but promptly forgot about it (as I am prone to do). Until today.

It would appear that MTV has turned its lenses to Greenpoint.

And we Greenpointers made sure they felt right at home.

    2. I’d heard the Brooklyn edition of TRW was going to be filmed in the Brooklyn Heights/DUMBO area. Rumor has it MTV was sniffing around the bars on/around Court Street to see if they could get permission to film. Just the same, this is an interesting bit of news.
