  2. My grandmother used to swear by Sham’s repair service, but she was part of the old Polish guard. Nothing like a good ol’ stereotype put into practical use!

  4. I’m pleased to report that Sham is, in fact, not a sham! My family scoffed at the name but called the number from the back advertisement section of the Greenpoint Gazette when our air conditioner needed a new plug a few years back and were pleased with the service.

  8. they used to be located in a small rundown garage on kingsland ave with a crude handmade sign that read only “sham repair”. the sign was still there for a couple years after they moved but its gone now.
