  2. The young woman at the beginning of the video brings up a question that resonates with me on a visceral level. While I have tried to be open minded about this issue and not be a total NIMBY ; it is the one thing that I keep coming back around to that absolutely gives me a sick feeling. The shelter’s proximity to the foot path and bike lane on the Pulaski Bridge is too close for comfort. I fear that, at best, the entrance will become something of a spectator area for men with too much time on their hands or, at worst, potential hunting ground for crime. It would be like shooting fish in a barrel, logistically speaking, for someone that might be tempted to act out on the opportunity.
