Not to be a pill, because I do admire your blog, but it’s humiliating enough to reach a point in life when you need those things without adding to the shame by making fun. As Bette Davis said, Getting old is not for sissies.

While I get your point that was not really my intent. Rather, there are some things that really do not mix: this is one such example. Another example is a window display for toilet chairs I saw in New Mexico ten years ago. They were completely covered in ornaments and tinsel. I found this utterly hilarious. Still do. What I am trying to say is in my mind this is a matter of mixing signals/bad advertising, not making fun of old people.
