Soccer Tavern is an old bar in now Asian part of Sunset park, which opened in 32. It one of the my favorite bars in NY with a nice mix of the old (Irish, German, Norwegian) and the new (Chinese, Chinese, and Chinese). This is Frank, who has been a regular since the early 60’s.

When Dania asked me why I wanted to take her picture, I said “I am hoping to do a photo series on Islam in New York. To try….” Here she jumped in and with a big smile said “To try and show we are not all terrorist?” Yes, kind of like that!
