New York Shitty Day Ender: Almost Christmas Eve Edition
While hardly the “mistletoe and holiday cheer” type I could not resist documenting and sharing this woman’s festive headgear. Even the Scrooge in yours truly has to admit this is pretty darned cute!

Although I have featured this masterpiece before I am doing so again. Why? Because although I am not a “Mac” person I think utilizing part of the aforementioned for a windshield is rather neat!

Although I suspect this it yet another manifestation of the viral advertising that is plaguing north Brooklyn of late here it is. My advice: purchase some Rogaine already!

Eryana writes (in an email entitled “Bayard Balcony”):
was covered on Fox News…just now made the front page of Yahoo! News no less.
as far as i know you were the first to cover this, correct? nice to see there are some fans of your blog @ Fox News, and that you’re doing their work for them.
Indeed. I take it was a slow news day, Rupert?
UPDATE, December 21, 2010 7:57 p.m.: it would appear Fox News’s video is quite popular.
224,629 319,610 539,111 page views and counting. Impressive. Where’s my cut of the revenue you undoubtedly gained as a result of this, my work, Fox News? Yahoo? Anyone?

New York Shitty Pay Phone Du Jour: Something Missing?
Anyone in advertising will tell you that the placement of your message is integral to reaching your “target audience”. If this is indeed the case the one man (?) army who has seen fit to saturate Bedford Avenue with the above anti-circumcision polemics got it right with this pay phone (which is located at the corner of North 7 Street). Judging by the aroma which emanates from this communication device it is clearly the ad hoc urinal of choice hereabouts.

P.S.: Nary a parking meter has missed this person’s attention.
