Overheard In Williamsburg: Glass Houses

rockOrdinarily I would hand something like this off to my friends at Overheard In New York but this one is too damned good NOT to post here. Sorry folks!

I was walking down Roebling Street  at 3:00 p.m. this afternoon when a group of 15-something young men rounded the corner and proceeded to walk in front of me. I was trying not to pay attention to what they were talking about but after I overheard the following corker I was hooked:

…(she) said don’t throw rocks if you live in a glass house. I don’t live in a glass house; I live in the projects. That’s what I told the teacher!

God I love teenagers.
