  2. This guy with the violin is the best thing to happen to the G Train in about 15 years. Every day I cross my fingers and hope he’s there when I come down from the L. He’s amazingly talented, the acoustics of the station serve his art fantastically, and you never ever get to hear a live, solo violin these days without shelling out massive cheddar to go to Carnegie or something. I wish I could hire this guy to play my living room every night. Sometimes he has a cellist with him (a girl) who sits on the other side of the tracks so you get this crazy stereo duet thing. It’s unbelievable. I’ve also seen him with a bassist.
