That, for anyone whodoesn’t recognize it, is a line from the chorus of “You Never Even Called Me By My Name,” a song written by Steve Goodman and first recorded by David Allen Coe.
Personally, if I were to scrawl a line from that song on a local wall, I’d go with “I was drunk the day my mom got of prison.”
