That be Dazzling Jim’s residence! And before it was a cross, the white symbol was briefly a swastika.
Back in the runup to the 2004 election, this guy had something like this on the awning, all in caps: “BUSH MAKES AMERICA #1. KERRY MAKES AMERICA #2. WHAT DO YOU WANT, AMERICA?” I couldn’t help but think about … well, number one and number two every time I walked past.
