From The New York Shitty Inbox: Brown Water Mystery Solved!
Thanks to our 50th Assembly District Democratic Leader, Lincoln Restler, we have an answer as to why there was funky looking water coming out of north ‘Point’s taps last night! Per the Department of Environmental Protection:
To follow-up on this, FDNY was out performing inspections at various hydrants in the area. When the hydrants are opened, there is a temporary drop in pressure that can cause a disturbance in the main, which results in brown water.
So there have you!
