From The Cooper Bark Dog Run Group: Found

This little guy (?) was found today inside of a Tupperware container at the Cooper Park Dog Run. Anyone interested in giving this chap the loving home he richly deserves should contact his good Samaritan, Kim, via Facebook.

Thanks!

UPDATE, September 1, 2011: I have word this pup might— just might— have a new home!

What’s Up At 134 Kingsland Avenue?

Yesterday I happened to be strolling down Kingsland Avenue and, lo, I noticed signs of activity at Boneshaker’s former space! Curious I asked the chap inside what gives. His introduced himself (name is Stas) and he was more than happy to give me the 411; he will be opening an eating and drinking establishment called “One Stop Beer Shop”. As the name indicates, beer will be served on the premises (along with a limited menu along the lines of soup, salads and sandwiches) and you will be able to get growlers to go!

I saw a number of these fliers (this one, unfortunately was stapled to a tree— but we’ll let that go) posted around Bedford Avenue and North 7 Street recently. If anyone reading this has seen Nermal or know of his whereabouts please contact his person at the above-listed telephone number. Thanks!
