As promised here is a a little footage of the Hungry March Band strutting their stuff at yesterday’s Kite Fest. Playing on the baseball diamond proved to be too hot to handle (because it was— SWELTERING— I can attest to this personally) so they decided to take their show on the road. Enjoy!

Those of you who want to learn more about the Hungry March Band (or simply want to listen to more music!) can do so by clicking here and here.

  2. Thanks for the posts, although I thought you were gonna take a well-deserved break. I’d miss you — I read you everyday — but we all need to recharge now and then. Perhaps a trip to Savannah to return the Sydney Lumet award is in order. It’s probably cooler there than it is here. It’s full of old trees so it’s certainly shadier.

  4. I’m taking a break— inasmuch as my Type A personality (and compulsion to document everything I see) will permit. When I encounter items I feel compelled to post in the next week (when my parents will be in town) I’ll post ’em.

I’m going to make Pa Heather go to the Newtown Creek “Nature Walk”. That should be interesting. 😉

    Thanks for the kind words!
