I was in Citibank (on the avenue) a few nights ago. A security guard / cleaner sitting in a chair jamming out with her iPod and a homeless couple spooning on the floor about 20 feet away. I look at her, she shrugs, eats her candy bar and I get my money out. I should have taken a picture. Too many banks and too little services for homelessness in our hood.. I see a collaboration taking effect..
Oh, come now, Miss H.! The person has clean socks and neat sneaks, and even seems to have gone to the trouble of laying down corrugated cardboard for a mattress. Besides, for my part, SOV BANK (The yeast is red!) deserves whatever it gets! Pooh on them!
So glad the mayor has FINALLY found a solution to the growing number of homeless.
