Don’t less this pup’s stern expression fool you: he is a great big cream puff! After taking the above picture he licked the bejeezus out of my hand— with his owner’s permission, of course. One should never, ever pet a dog without his “person” being present!

That dog’s “person” is a great neighbor and has a bunch of stories of growing up in the city.
Did you sample Syrena’s excellent babka while walking on Humboldt Street?
He’s a real sweetheart. It was fun talking to him.
Syrena: I didn’t stop there. Will do so, though. I stopped by the new Taco Bell. Boy is it fancy (and colorful). They play the music a little loud for my taste, tho (the exception being when Britney came on— I liked that). I felt like I was at a rave.
