Skateboards used to be so much fun to put together. For me, it was a week long project. First I had to find wood which entailed going to the dumps or lumberyard. Then I needed to revive the wheels of my old metal roller skates to use on the skateboard. There was a whole art to finding the right combination of ball bearings to make the skate board “fly”. It was alot of work and time, but also alot of fun to paint it and race it.
