New York Shitty Day Ender: And So The Race To The Bottom Continues…

I don’t know about you but I’ll be happy when this football season is over. Why, you ask? The latest covers of the New York Post have been— to put it mildly— more cringe-worthy than usual.

P.S.: If Rex Ryan is reading this I recently lost my job and really need a new pair of sneakers. The above (pink!) New Balances are a womens’ size 6 1/2; have never been washed and have seen a great deal of our fair city. Care to make a deal?

  2. This is pretty benign compared to the football-themed art on the cover of the Post the weekend before-a photo of the quarterback of the Colts seen through the crosshairs of a gunsight:;jsessionid=BF56D39588C0FCB52AAD0A19D98871DE?dateChosen=01082011

On the one hand you could say that the dreck that appears in the Post says volumes about the nightmarescape that is the psyches of those who put it out. A simpler explanation is that it is merely a newspaper run by middle-school boys.
