I attached a pic you might find interesting. It’s the stop sign on Greenpoint and West, right in front of Red Star. Yesterday a car almost hit two little kids on bikes in the intersection. The guy got out of the car to check on the kids, they were fine. I told him he blew the stop sign and I could tell he honestly didn’t even see the stop sign.
The geniuses at DOT put the “Bike Route” AND the parking regulation signs right in front of the stop sign! I never noticed it until yesterday. It creates a potentially dangerous/deadly situation.
