This item comes courtesy of the peeps of the Cooper Bark. This upcoming Sunday, May 2, at 10:00 a.m. they will be hosting a yard sale with all proceeds to benefit the Cooper Park Dog Run. Those of you who you have the opportunity should pop by and show your support.

I’m a Greenpoint sister and a loyal reader of newyorkshitty. I just wanted to let you know there is a fantastic new cafe called Milk and Roses on Manhattan Ave. between Clay and Dupont. It’s BEAUTIFUL inside and they have a nice garden that is well on its way in the back. There is also an old baby grand piano inside. It’s my new favorite place in Greenpoint and it is unmissable. Go now before their liquor license comes through because I have a feeling when summer hits and the vino flows, it will be packed!
Thank you for the entertainment of newyorkshitty! I love my neighborhood and it is always nice to know that someone else appreciates Greenpoint. I wouldn’t live anywhere else in New York.
