P.S.: On a completely unrelated note I am continuing to upload footage from last night’s joint Public Safety/Human Services meeting. As I have intimated previously (and repeatedly) I have been having considerable problems with this seemingly simple task. The last I checked the one I am uploading currently (where the Chair of Community Board 1 speaks)  is going to take five hours. No kidding. In any case I really want you to give this a listen as I do what our local Co-Pastor, Ann Kansfield (speaking as someone who has a lot of experience dealing with Greenpoint’s homeless), has to say about this proposed shelter and homeless services in general. When these are uploaded I will embed them in a post. Keep an eye out for them (no pun intended).
