FRIDAY: McGolrick Park Dog Run Benefit
This upcoming Friday, October 15, the folks at District Dog (and a lot of friends) will be hosting a fundraiser for the McGolrick Park dog run at the Church of the Messiah. Food catered by Cafe Royal and affordable spirits are promised in addition to a raffle whose prizes include:
- Dinner for 2 with wine pairing at Dressler
- Dinner for 2 with wine pairing at Dumont
- $50 dollar gift certificate from The Brooklyn Kitchen
- Gift Basket from Stella & Chewy’s
- Gift Basket from Zuke’s
- A weekend stay at Unleash Brooklyn
- 1 private session with Empire of the Dog

Tickets for this event (as well as raffle tickets) can be purchased in advance for $15.00 at District Dog or Unleash Brooklyn. Otherwise the price of admission will be $20.00 at the door. Check it out!

I had seen someone working on this garage door fairly recently— but quite frankly have not had the time to swing back by and see the finished product. Today I finally did. My advice: go see this for yourself. It’s really lovely!
