New York Shitty Mini-Slideshow du Jour: Live From Greenpoint
I took these photos around 10:45 this morning. All in all things looked pretty good. However, the end of Huron Street sustained some damage and there were a disquieting number of folks strolling along the India Street Pier (which, in light of possible storm surges, struck yours truly as being incredibly foolish). Spotted On McGuinness Boulevard At Huron Street: Mixed Signals
A couple weeks ago the Mister and I were dismayed— and amused— when we noticed a pedestrian crosswalk signal hanging on by a prayer from a light post at the above-mentioned intersection. We forgot to call 311, but no worries; it would appear one of our fellow Greenpointers had the presence of mind to do so because it has since been repaired!
Sort of.

New York Shitty Day Ender: Here We Go Again
That right folks: we’ll be kicking off the week with yet another film shoot commandeering a rather substantial part of north ‘Point. Those of you who live in any of the above-listed locations and own motor vehicles be advised they need to be moved by 10:00 p.m. this evening or New York’s Finest will do so for you!
