New York Shitty Slide Show Du Jour: Marathon

I have a confession to make: I cringe when the New York City Marathon darkens my doorstep. If people want to run, so be it. I simply don’t like it interfering with my peregrinations. In any case, here are a handful of shots (and a bit of video footage) of today’s marathon from the Garden Spot of the Universe. Enjoy!

    2. “Sheeple” is priceless! I had to enlarge it to see what they were holding! It so perfectly fits! (I can’t figure the connection except that it maybe relates to one of the runners? or a comparison to a herd of sheep??)

    4. Oh absolutely! I just meant I couldn’t figure why THEY were holding the sheep –but it’s a perfect capture for you, another one of those great quirky neighborhood moments that make this blog so much fun to look at.
