Spotted On Wythe Avenue: Cheap Books, CDS & More!
If there is one upshot to gentrification in north Brooklyn as I see it, it is this: at long last we have a decent selection of book stores. I mention this because I am a voracious reader and was absolutely filled with glee when I stumbled upon the following on Wythe Avenue.
It may not be labeled, but this establishment is called Pop Fuzz. The very helpful lady behind the counter told me they have been open since last weekend and for the next few (3-4) weeks they will be having a sale book worms, tape heads and music mavens cannot refuse!
- All books $1.00 each or six for $5.00
- All compact discs $1.00 each or six for $5.00
- All VHS tapes $1.00 each or six for $5.00
Sound too good to be true? Don’t take my word for it: go there and see for yourself!

This is where your waste winds up when you flush the toilet in North Brooklyn during a light rain.
Yummy.

Photographic evidence that Sunnyside has much more than affordable rents. It also has some very nifty murals!
