I wanted to give you info on the event that an organization my local Brooklyn friends and I have started. Obviously living in Greenpoint I read your blog, its mine and my co-workers daily local news.

Spring has Sprung! Please join us on MARCH 26th at THE TEXAS FIREHOUSE. This ONE NIGHT ONLY CHARITY EVENT will feature local and global artists and musicians. THE PROJECT COLLECTIVE is a start up Brooklyn based organization that is striving to build stronger communities through arts & music. Art/Office supplies and monetary donations will be collected for HOUR CHILDREN. This LIC based community organization provides supportive services to families and women involved in the criminal justice system. Thank you for your support and we hope to see you there!

Price of Admission: $5.00 or 5 art and/or office supplies
