Another sunny (if brisk) day, in North Brooklyn, another walk. And another dispatch as to how the North 10th Street “rustic” living room suite is faring. As you can see the sectional to the right has been moved.
It has also been tagged.
For those of you who are keeping count, this arrangement has been in effect for at least 24 days. The current record holder for feral furniture goes to this specimen on Meserole Street: 53 days.
P.S.: While I am on the subject of matters Department of Sanitation and Department of Transportation, what’s up with this?

That’s right Greenpointers: Crosstown Local service has yet to be restored.* Now factor in the East River Ferry will not be servicing the India Street Pier…
and, well, you get the idea. Plan accordingly, Garden Spotters!
*As it would happen I bumped into our City Councilman, Steve Levin, this morning. He was headed to the Church of the Ascension (which you may recall is operating a food drive for our friends in need as a result of hurricane Sandy). He too was less than pleased about about the state of mass transit hereabouts.

Although I gave the following a mention on this site yesterday I will do so again: our very own 94th Precinct has an officer who calls Rockaway Beach his home. Per the Commanding Officer himself, Deputy Inspector Hurson, any and all who wish to do are encouraged to leave donations at the 94th Precinct for this fellow to distribute to families in need.
