Greenpoint Photos Du Jour: Moultrie Street

Today— being as it is Martin Luther King Day— the Mister (who had the day off) and I took a walk. This vision greeted us at the intersection of Moultrie Street and Meserole Avenue. I, noting this wonder of nature is a ~~shitting~~ spitting distance from the Shit Tits, dubbed it Lake Shiticaca.

Upon closer inspection I concurred that the Mister’s suggested moniker “The Greenpoint Reservoir” is much more apropos.

Those of you who want to take your model motor (or U) boats for a spin— or have a few dozen rubber duckies (this being north Brooklyn, I am certain someone does)— may wish to exploit this bit of Greenpoint Glory while it lasts.
