When I saw this downright elegant specimen on Dupont Street today I simply could not resist sharing it for all to enjoy. A new decade will upon us soon enough and you know what they say:
Out with the old and in with the new!
Nonetheless, I cannot shake the suspicion that Ikea had a hand in this forlorn love seat’s ignominious end.

About that “new decade” thing. We’re stuck with this one for another year and a day or so. There was no year 0, the first was the year 1. So, the first decade was from year 1 through year 10; then 11 through 20.
This decade, contrary to some belief, began in 2001. Hang in there until 2011 for another decade.
