    3. I have to rant here because this is total bullshit.

    Not only am I not waiting around in the cold to catch one of these buses to see my buddy in Carroll Gardens this weekend, but the other train I take, the 7, is completely shut down this weekend as well.

    And I’m throwing a 30th b-day party for me and two other fellows turning 30 next sat, and BOTH THE G AND THE 7 are out. How the hell are my guests supposed to get to Greenpoint? Why would the MTA alienate an entire community this way? Because the G service sucks so bad, I walk 3/4 of a mile over an open bridge twice every day, just so I don’t have to deal with the G… and you shut down THE OTHER TRAIN as well? FU MTA.
