Last week I posted an item announcing this year’s annual Memorial Ride & Walk as hosted by the folks at Ghostbikes.org will come to pass March 18, 2012. I have an update to share: our very own “Boulevard of Death”, this being McGuinness, has been added to the itinerary. Given that just last week I had a very nice lady* (and lifelong Greenpointer) recount to me the friends/neighbors she lost on this thoroughfare— needlessly and LONG before this became an issue— I consider this time/attention well spent.
