What’s Up At 762 Manhattan Avenue?*

This questioned was posited to me some time ago by a reader. Unfortunately, I cannot seem to locate her email. Otherwise I would excerpt it here.  Anyhoo, I do recall her voicing concerns that this storefront would be occupied by American Apparel. I am writing this post to let her know she can lay her worries to rest.

As I was walking by today I spied a few gentleman standing out front. I asked them what was slated to occupy this space and they told me: a General Nutrition Center. I refrained from pointing out there is a General Nutrition Center located inside the Rite Aid at 783 Manhattan Avenue because I felt it was not my business to do so. In any case, it is proof positive once again that Greenpoint’s Law of Overabundance is alive and well!
