I have contacted the head of the 94th Precinct, Deputy Inspector Hurson, in the hope he can verify this and perhaps tender a few details. UPDATE, 10:53 a.m.: I have received confirmation from D.I.Hurson. He writes:
You have great intel, yes dead body was found floating in the river. Appears to be a man we are waiting for the Medical Examiner to come and make a determination of the cause of death
