These photographs (which hail from none other than north Brooklyn’s pride and joy: McCarren Park) come courtesy of Miss Mousey Brown who writes:
BTW dumbass, the pretty girls near the handball courts were laughing at your lame ass. The port-a-potties were closer than the distance you traveled to pee behind a patio umbrella on the fence line… Well done!
Indeed!
Of course given the state of one port-o-let (that has been thoughtfully provided by our local private/public “partnership”) can you blame him?

New York Shitty Day Ender: Live From Manhattan Avenue
I have no idea what this (which I stumbled upon at 3:00 this afternoon) was about. What’s more, I don’t really want to know. Suffice it to say I found Natasha (as seen above and who purportedly works for Cirque de Soleil) fabulous. The Polka music (which yours truly has grown to appreciate over the years by virtue of living in Greenpoint and becoming acquainted with Ray Budzilek via the local Salvation Army and a very nice Greenpoint named Noel) was pure gravy.
The bellydancers were something to be seen too— mostly by old men and male drivers/passersby. These ladies literally stopped traffic!
Ah, Greenpoint…

Spotted On Quay Street: Batman
Laura (who took the above photograph) writes:
Hi Heather! Mike & I were driving through Quay St. and spotted Batman in the midst of battle, with his foe in black. No shit.
Hmm. I wonder if among these these masked mens’ super powers is immunity to tuberculosis? Yes, dear readers, cases of TB have popped on Quay Street. More specifically at the MTA’s Mobile Wash Facility. Scary.
