Urban Fur: Welcome Home!
Filed under: 11206, Crazy Cat Lady, East Williamsburg, East Williamsburg Brooklyn, Urban Fur
Today on Grattan Street I saw— or make it heard— this rather indignant cutie.
I asked the above gentleman what her story was and he told me. Her name is Angel and today he brought her to her new “home”: his!
I am going to go out on a limb here and guess that this scowl won’t last for long. In fact, I have a creeping suspicion this little lass with the not-so little feet (and mismatched eyes) is going to be very, very pampered!

Today yours truly took a quick (and very bundled up) excursion around points East Williamsburg and beyond. Follows is a selection of street art I saw during my ramblings. Enjoy!

FRIDAY: Wounded Warrior Project Benefit
This item comes courtesy of a chap named Jordan, an Iraqi War veteran and bartender at t.b.d. He writes:
My brother and I are Greenpoint guys, and also Iraqi veterans. We’re holding a fundraiser On Dec 10 at a local bar (t.b.d. Brooklyn @ 224 Franklin Street; tbdbrooklyn.com) to support a non-profit that means a lot to us: The Wounded Warrior Project. It’s a group that was very good to me when I was recovering from a head wound that I received in battle.
I’m writing to see if you would be willing to post some information about the event on your website. It really is a great cause and should be a lot of fun.
The price of admission for this event is a mere $2.00. In addition to music and games raffle prizes, including (but not limited to) X Box 360 Black Ops with Medal of Honor, The Pacific DVD Box Set, PlayStation 3 Army Controller and gift certificates from local businesses. Check it out!
