Urban Fur: Booey Rides The B62

I wasn’t able to learn much from the “mom” of this little guy/gal. She had a speech impediment but a beautiful smile and heart. I was able to deduce this little one’s name was Booey. This little commuter/strap hanger is very loved— and cared for! His/her mom had a bag of toys and a thermos of KMR (kitten formula) in tow. Godspeed, Booey! You’re the cutest thing yours truly has ever beheld on the B62. Ever.

No one on the scene seemed to know what happened. If I had to take an educated guess I’d say the Easter Bunny, the Mobile Wash Unit or some party-goers (or some combination of the previous) had a little too much fun on North 10 Street last night. I am pleased to announce that this lovely lass who was recently found at the McCarren Park Dog Run has been given a clean bill of health courtesy of our local veterinarian, Brad Seaman! This evening she will be spayed and thereafter will be ready for adoption. New York Shitty Day Ender: Public Safety

Miss Mousey Brown was kind enough to tender this photo of our Public Safety Chair, Mieszko Kalita, to my photo pool. I suspect her reasoning for doing so was to highlight his rather jaunty tie. That, it is. The Mister even noted his pocket square (whatever that is) was in keeping with said tie. He called this sartorial. Nonetheless, this image provides me a reason to link to what he had to say about the so-called “moratorium” on liquor licenses and the rancor which preceded it on WPIX recently.
